Earlier this summer, a video titled "Welcome to Penn HIlls", shot by Penn Hills students, portrayed violence and a negative representation of Penn Hills. Hammonds Initiative wanted to get out in front of the video and show a true representation of Penn Hills. We wanted to show a community that is united, diverse, and most definitely positive. This video shows the Penn Hills YMCA, Hammonds Initiative, military veterans, elected officials, police officers, firefighters, our youth, and community members as a whole, together in harmony. We, at Hammonds Initiative, take pride in our community outreach and in upholding the values of the Penn Hills community. We are Hammonds Initiative. Say H.I. to the future.
